When The Dominici Collective chose to showcase Jeantrix, a fashion & Art clothing brand<\/a> from the Philadelphia area that caters to pop art enthusiasts worldwide, he thought of one person! NYC Photographer-Donn Thompson<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Jeantrix Fashion & Art on the Big City Streets, like New York or Philadelphia, is only the beginning.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

It felt like the perfect match, and I couldn\u2019t wait to bring Jeantrix’s Fashion & Art vision to life. Said NYC Photographer Donn Thompson. Capturing a fashion line was all I could think about. I was especially excited to finally use the red graffiti wall I pass on 124th Street every day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Combining fashion, art, and Donn Thompson\u2019s photography was only the beginning of what I envisioned. The textures and colours along the street made it the perfect setting for a New York City photographer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It would make the Jeantrix Fashion line stand out even more. Plus, I kept thinking about how it was right in my own backyard in Harlem, NY.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The wheels were already in motion, and it was spinning. So, I was compelled to show why Drac Inc.’s photography would elevate the brand to the next level. I was front and centre with lighting, my camera, and a photo assistant, Ezell<\/a> Franklin, who was also a young photographer willing to help make that happen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jeantrix Creatives Objective<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The brand began in Philadelphia in 2004, founded by two young African American brothers, Nyce and Homm. Their goal was to inspire people, starting with just one pair of customised sneakers. Their unique luxury apparel, canvases, sculptures, films, and art installations became known for bold clothing, which later expanded to include a wider range of art.

The brand has appeared in major media outlets like Elle Magazine, The Source, The LA Times, BET, MTV, and FOX. They have also worked with celebrities and fashion leaders, including Saks Fifth Avenue, Dr Martens, Patricia Field, Janet Jackson, Missy Elliott, Lil Kim, Michael B. Jordan, Alicia Keys, Blue Ivy, and many others in fashion and entertainment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Dominici Collective chose four models, two women and two men, who were the perfect fit. They truly embodied Jeantrix. The custom tops, colourful hand-painted jackets, coats, and denim jeans were made for them. It was wearable art.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Me! Being a Fashion Photographer in New York City. My lighting had to work perfectly for that beautiful spring Saturday morning. Using that yellow or red wall as a background, or even the graffiti wall, would make Drac Inc.’s photography pop as I envisioned. My lighting equipment, primarily the Godox, added just enough to make it all come together.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
