New York City has several opulent buildings with prestigious addresses, including Park Avenue, Upper East/West Side, to even Sutton Place, to name a few. The Doorman
These buildings all have one thing in common, which is the doormen. The concierge or doorman a familiar face you see while entering and exiting the building. They are closely intertwined with the residents and visitors that make an appearance in the area. The New York doorman stands as security for hotels, offices and residential buildings.
New York City – Prestigious Addresses
The doormen often hold the door for you while you are leaving the building. They greet you with the most immeasurable smiles on all occasions. The doormen often have the door for you while you are leaving the building. They are accommodating when you need them the most. With lots of things in your hand after a long day out about town and coming inside. Welcome you most times. “How do you do, sir/ma’am?”
They are there to assist you and bring convenience to your life by helping you hail a cab, being aware of the happenings in and around the building, and making sure packages are delivered to their rightful owners.
New York City Doorman Serve & Protect
One lovely summer evening, I took these images of fascinating doorkeepers from ethnically diverse backgrounds. The idea came to me as I saw a doorman on his hands and knees polishing the entryway’s threshold of a building. It was endearing to see the sense of pride, dedication, and great care in maintaining the entrance’s impeccable appearance as if it was his own home.
